Therapeutic Taping

Therapeutic Taping is a method designed to facilitate the bodies natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the bodies range of motion. It alleviates pain and facilitates lymphatic drainage. It can be applied to re-educate the neuromuscular system, reduce pain and inflammation, optimize performance, prevent injury and promote good circulation and healing.

Pain Management

At Renew Physiotherapy we strive to make your treatment as comfortable and pleasant as possible. If pain management is among your goals, your plan will likely include modalities such as Laser, Acupuncture, Ultrasound, IFC or TENS.

Massage Therapy

Renew Physiotherapy provides the services of an experienced Registered Massage Therapist in a therapeutic healing environment.

Traction

Spinal traction is a form of decompression therapy that relieves pressure on the spine. Spinal traction can be used to treat neck and back conditions such as degenerative disc disease, sciatica, radiculopathy and many others.

Inversion

Treatment with an inversion table can use gravity to relieve some of the pressure on the spine which can become compressed over time. Hanging upside down can be similar to spinal traction by stretching the spine and reducing the pressure on the discs. It can relieve general back pain by providing full-spine traction.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a treatment of direct manual force applied to the body to improve mobility in joints, connective tissue and muscles.

Functional Abilities Evaluation

This evaluation involves a thorough assessment by a Registered Physiotherapist, followed by a comprehensive assessment of strength, mobility, and endurance.
